The Core Aspects in Astrology

As previously discussed, The Horoscope Houses show WHERE. The arena of life where we will experience a particular urge and expression style (shown below).

From looking at the houses and what they represent, we can understand our approach to many areas of our lives and gather insight into our life patterns and potentials.

A summary of the Houses so far:

The First House - Deals with our general make-up. In other words, our Personality.

The Second House - Is About our Possessions, what we have in the material sense.

The Third House - Represents our close relatives', particularly our siblings, affects our lives by proximity and association with brief trips and associated transportation.

The Fourth House - Rules our home base and mother and our real estate and property concerns, domestic issues, private life, and family in general.

To continue our series of articles on the houses hereunder, we now peek into the arena of the Fifth and Sixth House.

THE FIFTH HOUSE - CREATIVITY

The fifth house domain is mainly associated with all things related to all levels of our creativity, which allows us to be recognised as successful in whatever area our heart directs us to follow.

The fifth house activities rule children to feed our inner child heart and soul and the children we may someday have. This house also rules hobbies, leisure time activities, play and recreation, and all forms of entertainment, gambling, taking risks and financial speculation fall under the fifth house umbrella, as well.

This house corresponds to the Astrological Sign Leo, and so any planets in this house function with some underlying flair of Leo.

Aligned to the Sun, the fifth house also represents the heart, our area of love, romantic ventures, and dating. Additionally, it also embodies our creative potential, false vs. real pride, our own will, getting recognition, and the heart's desires.

THE SIXTH HOUSE - WORK

The sixth house is mainly about work, the necessary work, everyday chores, daily routines, service to others, and volunteer work. This house also describes jobs that we take to survive. It also includes physical labor. Because we need to use our body to perform physical labor and take care of it, the sixth house also denotes our attitude towards food, diet, health issues, and personal hygiene. Our relation to older relatives, small animals, clothing, and the weather are also other sixth house areas.

This house corresponds to the Astrological Sign Virgo, and so any planets in this house function with some underlying flair of Virgo.

Linked to Mercury, in addition to being associated with communication, the sixth house mainly focuses on categorising and order, worry and concern, self-improvement, and using powers of discernment.

Join me next week when I talk about the Seventh and Eighth House.

Until then, sending warm and happy wishes your way.
